Melissa Etheridge Concert!

Be back soon….I’m going to see Melissa Etheridge on Saturday night at The House of Blues. 18th row center! I’m really stoked because I’ve loved her since the early ’90’s when I first heard her single “Bring Me Some Water.” I like a lot of different styles of music, but I’m partial to good rock or blues with a guitar-playing singer. Plus I admire Melissa’s involvement with breast cancer research and prevention. Yahoooooo!

One more note: I welcomed a lot of chaos into my household during these past two weeks. We’ve had an ongoing, costly plumbing problem that is finally fixed and I just did about 9 loads of really ripe laundry. Yahooooooooo!

    It was mayhem….The floor under the washer became damp from a broken pipe (which we didn’t know about for several weeks because the leak was initially small), so the clothes piling up next to it became damp also. I threw a lot of them into the dryer to prevent a mildew epidemic. But they still had that icky damp smell.

    Next we have to cut up the (old) carpet under the washer and drywall the big hole cut into the wall behind it. Thankfully no guests go into the pantry because it’s off to the side. So I don’t much care what happens to the flooring in there, as long as it’s dry.

    Domestic bliss!

    Oh plumbing problems suck…they really do. we always seem to have them on holidays or weekends when it cost more to have a plumber.

    that is great you are goig to a concert. i have not been to see live music since…um…since…the spin doctors. yep. i am old.

    So, now that the washing machine is fixed, you probably wouldn’t mind doing MY laundry, right?!? I mean, just to test drive it…LOL

    I’m an Etheridge fan also…saw her once in Tacoma several years ago. Rock on!

    THE SPIN DOCTORS!!! Too funny! Yeah, embarrassingly my last concert was Jimmy Buffett like 10 years ago. Yikes. But this will be more sophisticated, because there will be SEATS. I feel like such an adult.

    I was supposed to see Duran Duran (a bunch of hotties) a couple of summers ago, but the plans got cancelled. So I’m gonna be young and hip tonight and hopefully be able to make my way to the ladies’ room if I need to. Yes, young and hip…

    I just realized that your comment was waiting to be put on, Linda. Strange, because it should just go through, after you’ve commented once and I agree that you’re not a psycho or a stalker or both.

    I’m willing to do any laundry. It’s one of my favorite household chores, now that I am a professional housewife. I hate dishes (we have no dishwasher YET), and I hate dusting. But laundry I love. Throw it on through your computer monitor— I’ve got the basket poised to catch it! Ha ha..

    Cackle!….It ended up being a Christmas concert, but SO WHAT?
